I think the only one I had that hasn't already been mentioned is to let them make something together: decorate cupcakes, decorate cookies, bake cookies, make individual pizzas, etc. Family fun always has cool ideas for fun & simple things to make with food.

Have fun!jenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17276488490995122450noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8388835653201310961.post-4832876932799572822007-11-08T02:45:00.000+03:002007-11-08T02:45:00.000+03:00Balloon Hats! You use the long skinny balloons (like to make balloon animals with) and make hats. Step daughters and her friends LOVE it! Be sure to get the pump to blow up the balloons with. Leave me a comment on my blog and I will send you some pics.Charityhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00484038336468006126noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8388835653201310961.post-7614146631605836582007-11-08T01:14:00.000+03:002007-11-08T01:14:00.000+03:00If you don't mind the makeup - then manicures, eye...If you don't mind the makeup - then manicures, eye shadow and glitter makeup (makes a good party favor too).

Dress up - divide into 2 teams and have them dress up from a box of clothes. Most creative wins.

My nieces like to do a craft at their party so we have decorated hats and flip flops. We've also made keychains.

Pizza.

Dance off.

Give them a digital camera or video camera and let them take pictures/video. It was crazy but fun I bought a flash light for each boy and they went outside for almost three hours and played flash light tag. They had a ball despite it being freezing cold they burned a ton of energy and worked up a huge appetite.Tracyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02987152286939791842noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8388835653201310961.post-63090244790090208472007-11-07T18:34:00.000+03:002007-11-07T18:34:00.000+03:00Here is a link that has lots of great ideas.http:/...Here is a link that has lots of great ideas.
http://www.birthdaypartyideas.com/html/sleep_over.htmlIce Creamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10720267761985766740noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8388835653201310961.post-72627214151349140432007-11-07T17:54:00.000+03:002007-11-07T17:54:00.000+03:00Scarpbooking! They can decorate the back as one of their activities and then do hair, paint nails, have face masques, etc. Lots of fun!Marcia Francoishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13516774065137063145noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8388835653201310961.post-17697974144406235282007-11-07T09:50:00.000+03:002007-11-07T09:50:00.000+03:00Game night - pick ones that encourage talking and ...Game night - pick ones that encourage talking and getting to know each other.

Scavenger hunt - this could be done inside the home or involve driving around.

Progressive dinner - again you could do this in the house (have one part of the meal in the kitchen, the next in the living room, etc) or you could get some other people to help you and go from house to house.

Can't wait to hear what other ideas people suggest.

Duckabush BlogKathy in WAhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17214274261673123725noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8388835653201310961.post-51002799405425814172007-11-07T09:28:00.000+03:002007-11-07T09:28:00.000+03:00I remember going to a few slumber parties in middl...I remember going to a few slumber parties in middle school. At one the mom bought a ton of shaving cream, silly string, and water balloons and just let us go nuts! That was fun. At the other, we had a fashion show, which was a huge hit at the time. Maybe buy them some cheap spa products and let them "spa" each other...facial masks, hair-do's, nails, etc.Mandyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07836804230239409478noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8388835653201310961.post-24765377650890091772007-11-07T09:09:00.000+03:002007-11-07T09:09:00.000+03:00A friend of mine is super creative. For each hour, they did activities that coordinated with that age (ate baby food during hour 1, fingerpainted at hour 3, etc.) The girls loved it!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
