My New 101 in 1001 List
(I just updated this post I wrote in April of 2009 and realized, after nearly a year, that I had never published it!!! Yikes - bad blogger!!)
-----------
I'm setting my start date as tomorrow, which gives me a target date of January 5, 2012. The thing I like about having 1001 days to complete the list is that it gives you approximately 2 3/4 years, so if it's something seasonal, you have more than one shot to do it. Looks great! Maybe I'll start working on a list, too...maybe. lol Sorry, but you have to come up with one more thing. Why? Because #30 and #36 are the same. Or was that on purpose? Whatever, but I need to add that one to my own list, too! lol You're an inspiration. Love ya! :-)
Sounds interesting. There are quite a few on there that I would like to do too. Good luck with your list!
Try the following site for learning Classical Arabic

My 101/1001 goal to memorize a verse or passage each month for a year pales in comparison to your memorization goal. I am impressed!
Lori,
I can't find a way to email you so a comment it is! I was wondering if I could pick your brain a bit about living in a Muslim country, if you have time. Our scout troop has a new boy that is a recent transplant from Saudi Arabia and we are clueless! I need to do some research but want to make sure I'm getting the correct info. Believe it or not, you can't believe everything you read on the internet. :-)
Thank you!
Mary
I just read through these recent blog entries because I was wondering what's been up with you.
Just wanted to let you know, I got braces in November and I HATE them!!! It literally took me months to be able to eat pain free. I'm so jealous that you're only getting them on your top teeth, I never even thought of that!!!
Oh, and I can totally relate to the friends thing. I've got alot of friends, but none that I'm really close to and we've been in Orlando for three years!! I just really think it takes time and you just have to find that person that you click with! I miss talking to you!
Say hi to the kids and hubby.
God bless, Laurie
