Thankful Thursday
I'm just so grateful to be home and amongst family and friends. God is so good.
I'm grateful to be a citizen of a country where we can vote freely, without fear.
I'm grateful that the transition from one administration to the next will be smooth and non-violent, unlike in many countries of the world.
I'm grateful that I know that God is ultimately sovereign and in control of who leads our country. Even though I don't understand His plans, I know that He does.
I'm grateful that God is faithful, even when I am faithless and foolishly think I am too busy to spend time with Him.
I'm grateful that His love for me is not based on what I do, but on who He is. And He never fails.

Amen! I'm also thankful for home, family, and friends.
Gosh, you really are a committed blogger! I guess it's hard to stop blogging even when you're home visiting. I'm glad because then we get to see what you're up to. I'm sure you can really see the differences between our free country and where you are living. I hope you enjoy the great weather we're having in AZ.
Welcome home! Truly it is a gift to see how people live and governments run outside of our country. We learn quickly that even though what we have here is far from perfect - we are blessed nonetheless!
I am also thankful that he never fails and that he is faithful even when I am not. Thank you for those wonderful reminders!
Thank of the reminder for our freedom to vote. That is a right we all need to be thankful for. A right that should never be taken for granted.
Amen sweetie.
I enjoyed reading your post and I love, love, love the idea of being thankful to the Lord (cultivating an attitude of gratitude).
I was so nice to meet you!
Julie
I am thankful too for His faithfulness! Welcome home!
Very true, especially that God's love is not dependent upon my behavior, but on His character. Great list.
Thanks for sharing. Blessings from Costa Rica
