The Most Wonderful People in the Internet

Thanks to all of you who were so kind and encouraging to me following yesterday's post. I am so blessed to have a circle of women who I'm able to be honest and open with and not be afraid -afraid of rejection, afraid of condemnation, afraid of being vulnerable.

I am feeling better today. Your words have a lot to do with it. I know that all of have days when we feel like failures. I'm not thoroughly convinced that I'm doing my absolute best in all my endeavors, but I'm at least realizing that I'm not a complete loser! LOL!!

There are many areas in my life where I make wrong choices - my eating habits (and, oh, Debbie, how I wish it was just a problem that had cropped up over vacation!!!), my sleeping habits, how I choose to spend (or rather waste) my time; my lack of self-discipline again rears its ugly head. It's nothing new.

I guess the ticket is to not give in to those times when we feel defeated, but instead to pick ourselves up, brush ourselves off and start all over again.

Did you find yourself singing along with that last line???

i read your post yesterday, and wanted to take the time to encourage you with a little note, but i had to dash off. we sometimes can be our own worst enemies, beating ourselves for every imperfection. i struggle, too, with every thing that you mentioned. i don't have anything profound to offer- jsut knwo that you are a wonderful mom, wife, teacher... and there are just as many areas that you excel. concentrate on those, and continue to try to improve. you'll get there! i'm glad that you're feeling better!

Just read your posts yesterday and today. I'm glad you're feeling better. In my opinion, your accomplishments far outweigh those of what you think are failures. You can homeschool that's for sure. You've got friends who accepts you for who you are. Your friend is right to say you are a well-rounded person. I've been here in Doha for 4 yrs now but for me you've accomplished more in just few months. I definitely empathize with your struggles. I'm inspired by your efforts to be a great person. I know God is carrying you through.

I'm so glad we can come alongside one another and encourage each other. We all have those days, believe me. I did sing along to those words. Now, you keep up your great sense of humor; it helps!

I'm late reading yesterday's post. But, I'm glad you're feeling better today. I feel the way you do on occasion too. Just the other day I felt totally incapable of doing anything right. I'm glad others were able to make you feel better!
