Menu Plan Monday


It's been a while since I participated in Menu Plan Monday. With Hubby gone, it's been a little hard for me to feel motivated to actually cook. The kids and I have been having mostly "feed yourself" type meals around here. I was very convicted about it this weekend and have decided to pull myself together and make some nice meals for the family.


Monday
- Shell pasta with marinara sauce, garlic bread, and salad

Tuesday
- Bourbon Chicken, dirty rice, and cole slaw

Wednesday
- Sandwiches and chips (quick and easy before church meal)

Thursday
- Shrimp stir-fry with loads of veggies, served over rice

Friday
- Meatloaf, garlic roasted potatoes, and steamed broccoli

Saturday
- Steak & Spinach Pinwheels, salad and yellow rice

Sunday
- Pot roast, mashed potatoes and corn

Nice menu. :) I hear ya on the quick&easy meal before church on Wednesday. I did the same thing! lol

When Nicky's gone for a long time, I'm excited to not have to cook and we do "on your own" meals, too. But, after a week or two, I just get tired of it and start cooking again. I wondered how long it would take you to get to this point. I'm glad you're ready to cook again! Have fun! LMK if you need any cooking stuff! Love ya!
